Big Daddy’s Truck and Trailer Parts and Repair, Inc. was originally founded by Our Owner, Kim Huggins, who owned and operated a Sand and Gravel Trucking Business.
With her Trucking Business there was always a need for affordable, dependable and accelerated repairs to her Trucks. After trying multiple area shops without finding her needs met she set out to build a shop that offered Affordable, Dependable, and Accelerated Repairs, and that is when Big Daddy’s became a Goal. Kim worked tirelessly running her Trucking Company during the Day and Starting Her Repair Shop afterhours to meet her fleet’s needs to keep them on the road.
In the spring of 2010 Kim found herself not only working on her equipment but a lot of local Trucking Companies as well which built the need to expand. In the Spring of 2011 Kim moved Big Daddy’s from the one bay shop in Anna to its flagship location in Van Alstyne, Texas. Fast-forward to today and you will find that Big Daddy’s is still driven by those 3 – core values: Affordable, Dependable and Accelerated Service.
We have grown from a single bay workshop to a multi-bay facility that houses many skilled and experienced Technicians. A parts warehouse that stocks over $1,000,000.00 in inventory. 3 – Roadservice Trucks for Mobile Repairs 24/7. A Mobile Preventative Maintenance Unit that provides on-site PM services for large fleets. A Mobile Tire Shop that brings the tire shop to your fleet and is capable of not only mounting and dismounting tires in the field but also provides run-out and balance checks as well as mobile alignment capabilities to the customers units.
In the fall of 2017 we proudly became a Goodyear Tire and Rubber Dealer – offering Automotive, Light Truck, Commercial Medium Duty, Commercial heavy Duty, Off-Highway, OTR Equipment, Agriculture, and many other vocations of tires to meet out growing customer base needs.
